The Games

The Games is an old form of amusement cherished by the darker clans. Anyone who would like to participate finds out the meeting place for the Start and goes there. The Games start strictly at the time that was set and no later, so if you arrive late, you better let someone who's already in play know you are participating and soon enough everyone will know. The Games are usually only played by the vampires, the demons and the Erinyes witches, though others are welcome. However, it is known that the usual players will not go easy on newcomers, especially if they are from the Aiakos clan. All in all, the Games are really a very intense mix of hide and seek and tag, though with daggers and other small blades.

The rules are as follows:

No killing.
When you 'tag' someone, it is called 'cutting'. When you 'cut' someone, you use either your dagger or other small blade to make a small slice on the other player. Blood must be drawn (not a huge amount, a few drops will do) or the 'cut' does not count.
It is usually very difficult to get 'cut', because the cutter must be able to either catch you or at least get close enough to make contact.
A vampire is chosen as the "Ending" and he/she must send out a mental signal at the exact time that the Games were scheduled to end, letting everyone know the Games are over and to meet back at the Start. This is usually an older vampire with a higher mental strength.
When the Games end, the players with no cuts at all are the winners and that is that.

The Games are purely for sport and fun, though it is a very dangerous past time, as some children play a bit rougher than others.
